Tina Marie Cronbaugh was born March 15, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Norma (née Gregory) Campbell. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1982, and went on to earn her associate degree from Kirkwood Community College.

Tina grew up and spent most of her life in Cedar Rapids prior to moving to rural Belle Plaine when she was united in marriage to Rodney Cronbaugh on September 20, 2014 at their home.

Tina worked at UnityPoint Health for 15 years, and then at the University of Iowa Hospital as administrative coordinator for 14 years. She took pride in her work, seeking to build up those around her with her thoroughness, knowledgeability, and approachable work ethic. Tina greatly enjoyed traveling the world, as well as gardening on her acreage, sitting by a fire with a glass of wine and her dogs, attending concerts and filling her home with music, making quilts for loved ones, having deep conversations with friends, cooking and playing hostess for gatherings big and small, and playing with her grandchildren.

More than anything, she cherished her family and faith her whole life long. Tina died suddenly on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Compass Memorial Hospital in Marengo, at 61 years of age. She will be remembered as a strong, discerning, and most importantly kind wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, a person who always strove to choose joy and to help others find their own.

Tina is survived by her husband Rodney; her three children, Nicholas (Scott) Lindborg of Marshalltown, Gregory (Bailey) Yancey of Newhall, and Syd Campbell (Brayden Merrell) of North Liberty; her stepchildren, Katie (née Cronbaugh) and Darrin Kinzenbaw of Marengo, and Ryan (Ashley) Cronbaugh of Ankeny; five grandchildren, Landon, Finnick, Andi, Rogan, and Hannah; her father and stepmother Robert and Janet Campbell of Belle Plaine; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a myriad of friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Norma and Galen Lowe, and her sister Cindy Thumma.

May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in peace to rise in glory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church in Marengo. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church in Marengo. Pastor Sheryll Untiedt will be officiating. Burial will be at the Koszta Cemetery. A general memorial fund has been established.
