Is our education important?

As a blind or visually impaired Iowan, I am bothered by the actions taken in the past decades to reduce the quality of education being offered to the blind and visually impaired children of this state.

Is the education of Iowa's visually impaired no longer important?

Two guys once spent a couple of years together, in a big brick building between the courthouse, police station, and post office of a county seat in Iowa.

A few days ago we got the press release from the local PD asking everyone to make sure the yards are kept clean and tidy. I laughed. I remembered.

Dear Editor, This news was reported betweeen 5:30-6:30 a.m. on WMT this morning with compliments to the Class of 2010. I add my admiration for understanding the meaning of self-sacrifice in deed, instead of only in word--just as the veterans did for the USA.

Dear Editor, What a good idea (V-S Senior Class donating to the Honor Flights Program)--good for the kids. I also heard the two seniors speak on channel 600 the s'morning.
