Opinion : Reader Thanks Community

What a great Place to Live! I want to say a big "Thank You" to all the organizers and volunteers of Party in the Park. It was a great weekend. It's so nice to live in a family friendly community. We moved here six years ago from Florida. My husband and I are Midwesterners but moved to Florida to enjoy the sun and sand for a few years. When we decided to start a family, we knew we wanted to be closer to family. My husband was working in Cedar Rapids and drove to Wisconsin to see his family. He went through Vinton and thought it was such a quaint town. We got in touch with Johnson Realty and here we are! I feel thankful and blessed to live in such a wonderful community. From the volunteer ran theater to the wonderful shopping downtown, it's simply a great place to be.
