Letter to the Editor: Impeachment over a phone call

Dear Editor,

So Congressional Democrats start impeachment proceedings over a PHONE CALL?? A phone call that asked for a FAVOR? Hmmm?

I guess I shouldn�t ask my neighbor a favor to care for our pets this weekend while we watch the Cyclones vs. Okie State. Man we have come so far.

The Democrats have lost their minds.

NG October 24, 2019, 7:26 pm Mr. Stiegelmeyer, you know you may make that phone call without any problem. That was a silly comment. Your president tried to involve a foreign country with our election process which he already in 2016 which he obviously learned nothing from. If President Obama had done what your president has done you would be screaming at the top of your lungs. Ms Ernst talked about impeaching President Obama for using executive orders. That is how slimy Republicans can get. There is no working across the aisle. Remember how bent out of shape they got when President Obama wore a tan suit? Republicans are screaming about closed door hearings but they did the same thing during the Clinton investigation and didn't have a problem with it and it is common among many other hearings. There are 48 Republicans involved in the hearing questioning so maybe they just need to grow up. Many more people support impeaching and removing 45 than ever approved impeaching Bill Clinton. Sorry John, you are on the wrong side of this one. Norma Gould
