I remember the days, a looooong time ago that we had the fun job of picking out baby names.

We had always talked about names we'd use, we loved certain ones, and tossed them around before we needed them. Then they kinda grew on us, and it was a given what names we'd use.

Now, we tried to pick out names that had a good meaning to them...although that didn't always work, but for the most part, we didn't take the job lightly.

In past years we've heard names for babies like Apple, Coco, Audio Science, Daisy Boo and Poppy Honey...all courtesy of Hollywood...need I say any more?

We knew a guy that changed his last name to reflect his obsession with Star Wars. He then had about 8 kids and continued naming them weird names...that, of course, other kids just had a riot with.

There was a new daddy in Egypt that had the privilege of naming his little girl, and he chose, Facebook.

The poor kid.

But his logic was the same as ours, it meant something to him.

The role of Facebook in Egypt's revolution made such an impact on this man, that he marked the day of hope by naming his daughter after the social media that helped to change his part of the world.

I feel sorry for the little girl, but I can understand the daddy's reasoning.

So, best wishes little Facebook, and best wishes to your country as it struggles to find it's way.
