Opinion : Letter to the Editor: Which was the "Real" Horror Movie?

Dear Editor,

Yawn...Ho-Hum!! Sorry, I've only had three mugs of coffee and a shower to blast me out of my stupor after watching the "low-lights" of the State of the Union event on GMA this morning.

As many of you know, I said I would not watch Biden's on stage performance. I weighed the positives and negatives, and I made the wise decision to watch a horror movie on my laptop. Contrary to Biden's view that ALL Americans are doing well, I cannot afford cable. [I have a rubber patch antenna in my picture window, and I feel blessed to get 47 channels!]

First off, I give an A+ for Kevin McCarthy's "pair of ****s" for his excellent and accurate analysis of the speech, as the President droned on and on and on. His Mount Rushmore facial expression was priceless. [Way to go Mr. Speaker!] The Republicans had to be "rowdy" to stay awake. How many members contained their belly laughter++?

The speech writer should get a "C" for being clever and charming. But remember who was delivering his or her speech at the podium. I would give President Biden an "F on" his performance...both farfetched and a failure. He hesitated too often and backtracked several times. His attempt at humor was droll. Some generous reporter said it was Biden's best speech since he took office. Yikes!! There's a shocker!!

As if that wasn't enough to ruin my Wednesday, along came VP Harris with her new song, "Please don't drop me from the ticket if you run again, Joe!" I doubt any record label will pick it up. She went on and on about what the President has accomplished in his two years in office. I guess I yawned and missed them. Darn!! Her current popularity is 37%...and going down.

As I said earlier, I watched a horror movie, "The Dinner Party" on my laptop rather than the President on TV. Very appropriate, I thought, since most Americans can't afford to go out to a classy and expensive meal. This couple attended the party hoping to get funding for the husband's play he was producing. And all they experienced was sheer terror. [This morning I tried to think about what America could do with the massive funding we're spending playing compassionate to all these illegal immigrants.] And I had to decide between a pale-faced Joe Biden delivering a "Lamb to Slaughter" Speech or "The Dinner Party." WHICH WAS THE REAL HORROR MOVIE??

How did I get on this jag, you may ask. First, I was reading about the situation in Yuma, Arizona. The illegal immigrants crossing their border has risen 171% since Biden took office. Interviews with the mayor and a city supervisor are of great concern to everyone who lives there. Bills for healthcare at the hospitals are mounting over 30 million dollars. The mayor said they will never be paid. The food banks are continually with bare shelves. "To survive," the mayor stated, "we need help!" But his plea appears to have fallen on deaf ears. Is the president concerned? Probably not! The fact is that Yuma is not the only city facing these critical problems. Maybe Biden doesn't get it, but these are life and death situations!! Now, our fearless leader has a problem with Kevin McCarthy and some GOP members visiting the border. Someone has to take action...considering the president's "gait" and inability to see a crisis and act on it. So, let the Republicans come up with a plan. It's better than Biden's. OH, I FORGOT...He has no plan! Silly me! By the way, I noticed that the illegal immigrants in the country is now estimated at over 5 million. Some of them told a reporter that Biden had actually invited them here. Well, Mr. President, they have overstayed their Welcome. SEND THEM HOME!!!

PK February 15, 2023, 8:45 pm Many people foolishly believe that President Biden has not committed any crimes, but I believe he has. There are obviously different definitions and facets of crime. By being negligent about the Border Crisis [until it was thrown in his face by governors Abbot and DeSantis], Biden was committing a crime against the American people! Those especially hurt by his actions are our poor...our seniors...and our vets who served our country throughout the years. Biden has not fulfilled his responsibility to these people. He has turned his back on them by using millions and millions [soon to be billions] of dollars on this INFESTATION of illegal immigrants. Our reserves are being wasted on them! THEY DO NOT BELONG HERE!! Most Americans are unaware of what it is costing both them and our real citizens who belong here and need help. When good weather arrives, the crime rates will soar in these areas burglary, robbery, rape, murder, etc. Don't tell me that Biden hasn't committed a crime. He proves it himself every single day that he allows the scum to seep into our country and does nothing about it!! Before he leaves office, he'll pay for this!!

Like I have said many times, it has always been my experience that the first person to drag those titles into a conversation is the true fascist and or racist. Then you threw out something about "Trump and his communist lover" and so I can't tell if you are taking a shot at Trump's politics or making some snide remark implying Trump is gay. It would strike me that the last person who should be doing that would be you! Right? I did not read the vast majority of your rant. I don't read trash as a rule and I do not know of many who do. Yet if this paper was printed and not just online, I could use your endless rants to wrap fish in. Ronald Reagan was once quoted as saying, " If fascism ever came to America, it would do so in the form of liberalism." To make that more clear and to cut through any confusion, you may want to actually learn the definitions of the ugly words you choose to call people. You might just find yourself looking in the mirror, and for some people, that's a really difficult thing to do.

Putting politics aside, would you rather have someone who has business experience negotiating something for you, or someone with no business experience? A person negotiating a deal involving his own money will most likely do a better job I would say. PK February 15, 2023, 5:14 pm NG...If Biden loves to "mentor" young children, he can travel to the cities who have the greatest number of illegal immigrants. Think of the thousands and thousands and thousands of children already here now. Then consider the thousands and thousands more that will be born in the future. And the taxpayers will be picking up the tab for them and their brothers and sisters and their parents for years and years to come!! NG...You may just have found a job for Biden after DeSantis becomes president. Biden can mentor the illegals' children and teach them about integrity and public speaking.

That's a fascist ideology! The policy that said he could go into a private room with Putin and two translators, only to force the translators to destroy the whole transcription. That a fascist ideology! The policy that negotiated with The Taliban on turning Afghanistan over to them. That's dealing directly with fascists! The policy that allowed the president and his closest advisor to work with a foreign leader on a business deal that would pay both of them $2 Billion each? That's a crime against The United States of America! As far as that goes... Imagine that Joe Biden owned a whole group of failing golf courses. Then imagine him working with Putin (the wealthiest person in the world) on creating a new, international pro golf tour that would pay Biden $2 Billion per year to play on all of his courses. And that Biden did this because the PGA of America changed the venue of one of its tournaments, taking it away from one of Biden's courses, because they didn't want to get into a business deal with a President of the United States, because they remain non-political. Or perhaps it's the policy of telling the American people that his Communist lover was disbanding his nuclear program. All while, the United States Military Satellite photos, clearly showed that his Communist lover was tearing down a nuclear site, and moving the equipment to a much bigger site that was under construction. Or maybe it was the policy that allowed China to fly (at least) 3 different surveillance balloons over our country, without any repercussions. But, your so worried about a surveillance balloon that was disabled by NORAD signal scrambling technology, as it floated over our country. Then was ordered to be shot down by our current president, as soon as it got over a soft landing area, so the equipment might be studied. GB, do you really think it's wise to shoot down an object the size of 3 large buses, over American soil? Would you be happy if 3 buses landed on your house? Perhaps a policy you're talking about is the cutting of corporate taxes, by more than half? Do you realize that our country is funded by tax money? We all pay taxes so we can enjoy the luxury of having indoor plumbing, so we can have roads to drive our cars on, so we can have representation in our government, so we can have clean water to drink and bathe, etc, etc. How is it that you can write all of those comments, telling us how great the Trump policies were, but you can't actually tell us what those policies were? You can write all about "The Biden Crime Family" (hahaha), but you can't give any evidence of any crime that Joe Biden has committed? You hear a story about Joe Biden sending his staff to his former office, to look for possible documents he's not supposed to have, then turning those documents over to the authorities right away. You believe that his bad is worse than the former president holding onto hundreds of documents, after turning over some to the archives. Then he ignores the archives request for those other documents, for several months, so a subpoena is issued for their return. He ignored the subpoena for 8 months before a search warrant was issued. Then he cries to all of you cult members, that he's been treated badly. You think the Biden part of that is worse for our country than what Trump did!!! NOBODY should have government documents outside of a government secured area. But, ignoring a subpoena is criminal! Getting paid $2 Billion from Saudi Arabia is criminal! Being owned by Putin and Mogilevich is criminal! He has laundered money for Russian Oligarchs and The Russian Mafya is criminal. He'll never pay for the myriad of crimes he's committed in the last 55 years. But, he is going to pay for some of them that he committed while sitting in our White House.

I'm sure your slant on Washington and Jefferson is NOT appreciated by most US citizens. AND YOU LOSE YOUR CREDIBILITY about Biden being a GOOD father considering HUNTER BIDEN. NG February 15, 2023, 1:07 pm George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were white supremacists. No other President has ever had as much integrity as Joe Biden. He is the perfect example of what all men should strive to be. He is a great father and genuinely loves to mentor young children. He brings out the best in them.

What about Thomas Jefferson, who gave our country structure with the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution? What about the presidents who got us through the many wars like Madison, Grant, Wilson, FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon? FDR gave us Social Security. Lyndon Johnson is responsible for Medicare. "Baby" George Bush got America and our people through one of the most horrific times our nation has ever faced...9/11. When he addressed our great masses, he stood strong and spoke sincerely and resolute that we would emerge and go on as ONE GREAT NATION. A lesser man would not have had the strength to unite us as he did. Joe Biden, even though he could use a powdered wig, could never wear those of great men like Washington and Jefferson. He could never have walked in the shoes of the stellar presidents who faced the wars with dignity and courage. And he most certainly could NEVER have brought our United States of America through 9/11!! So...NG, before you make such a ludicrous statement, check some history books!! Give credit where and when it is due!!

Apparently, you admire the success this administration has had bowing to China and making China great. At least the last president was focused on making America great. GB February 12, 2023, 5:30 pm PK, you left out that, hopefully the next president won't be corrupt and compromised with the Chinese by his own son. We are now witnessing the results of a compromised President when he will allow a Chinese spy balloon to drift over our entire country and our most sensitive facilities, likely dropping listening devices to monitor our military activity. Any reasonable person who has been to a store, a gas station, bought baby formula (or tried to), watched the news and got any of their news from sources other than the View, could easily conclude Biden makes a mess of everything! Of course you would not recognize the failures of this administration. Inflation shot through the roof as a result of out of control spending by Congress and this administration. Moving onto foreign policy. Our pull out from Afghanistan was a complete abortion. We left hundreds of Americans there and billions of dollars of military equipment to an enemy. What "competent" Commander In Chief" does that? It does not require a great deal of mental capability to quickly conclude there are corrupt ties to China, Russia and even Ukrain between the Biden Crime Family and those countries. This administration actually allowed a balloon controlled by and adversary to drift across our entire country and did nothing about it until it had crossed over some of our most important military facilities. Biden is a weak and feeble leader. The mess this country is in domestically and internationally is a direct result of a weak leader and that same leader appointing community activists to cabinet positions who have zero legitimate experience in the areas they have been put in charge of. I could spend all day giving example after example of the weak and incompetent decisions by this administration, but again, that would require the reader to have a basic level of intelligence and ability to comprehend. GB February 9, 2023, 6:40 pm I would hardly consider the policies of the previous President a dumpster fire. He had great policies. He just couldn't keep his mouth shut and he wasn't always politically correct. A "dumpster fire" is far more fitting for our current President and the Biden Crime Family. Other than that, all you presented was an opinionated recap of your dislike of our president. You folks that have been brainwashed by your con artist, cult leader still believe that "his" economy was the best in the history of our country, need to look at the numbers! Numbers don't lie like your adulterous, sex paying, slime ball super hero. You still believe he won the 2020 election, simply because he told you he did. But, 61 out of 61 hearings in front of several (R) judges, failed to turn up one piece of evidence to support his claim. At least 2 of Trump's attorneys have had their license to practice law revoked, with one more being examined, as we speak. Fox News is in a $1.6 billion court case where they are trying to kiss the judge's behind, and apologizing for everything they're being accused of. At some point reality has to smack the faces of every follower in this cult. Hopefully sooner than later.

Consider the dumpster fire left by our previous criminal president for him to fix. Very similar to what Bush left for Obama. The first Bush left a big problem for Clinton and then all Clinton did was hand off a balanced budget to Bush. Bush turned that into a near collapse of our economy. See a pattern? Your entitled to your opinion but you can't rewrite history. Kevin is the weakest speaker of the house in history and had to sell his soul to republican members like MTG, Matt Gaetz (likes his girls young), Upstanding character George Santos, Jim Jordan (has a habit of looking away from sexual abuse). It's hard to give credit where credit is due. Biden has done very well considering what he inherited. Inflation has its roots in the supply chain, caused by the pandemic shutdown, and Putin's aggression in Ukraine. I can't imagine where we would be if President Spanky (hush money payments) was in the White House!
