Opinion : Letter to the Editor: Is the Biden Administration for or against Americans?

Dear Editor,
President Joe Biden is in office to serve OUR country and OUR citizens. Right?? The man is picking and choosing where he wants to visit and where he wants to send money to HELP. I am assuming he knows where he's at and who he hands the money to. [I know most of the time he doesn't know if he's teaching a class at some university or having a memorial for 9-11 in Alaska rather than in New York which would be more fitting.]
The last editorial I wrote was about Fetterman ruining the dress code for Congress. This is more important! If you've watched the news on TV or read stories online in the past week, things are becoming much bleeker. As one of my former responders said about me, I was projecting "Gloom and Doom." I'm sorry to inform you but the gloom and doom has arrived here. Right Now!!
In the last several months over 82,000 more illegal immigrants have crossed the border: on trains, trucks, and rusted-out cars. They are wading through water, running, walking, and leaping to get to the border and be in the good ol' USA. The idea that they want to work and have a better life is BS. They are well aware of their families and friends who are already here sitting on their butts and being taken care of by the American taxpayers. El Paso will be starting to bus them to other states as early as today. [But the illegals must be aware of where they're being sent and if they want to go. They have to sign a paper. How many have to sign with an X?] NY City is getting about 2,000 of them a day. IF you haven't seen the streets of the city, you are not seeing what is happening all around this country. Illegals blocking the doors to businesses, garbage, old clothes, blankets, and even feces. My question is, WHERE IS JOE BIDEN WHEN THE PICTURES OF OUR COUNTRY'S DESTRUCTION IS BEING SHOWN ON THE NEWS ???
We know where he will be this coming week. He'll land in Michigan to walk [shuffle] with the UAW workers who are on strike. I'm not certain that this is protocol for a sitting president. But when does Biden ever follow protocol? It seems to me that he has other BIG problems facing America at this time. The cost of illegal immigrants, the debt ceiling, gas & food prices, other countries with their hands out, and so many others too numerous to mention. [Going to Michigan is about as close as he's ever been to East Palestine, Ohio. You remember, where the toxic waste was dumped when a train derailed. A disaster he chose not to worry about. But he did send Pete B...Right? I'm certain the majority of the town will remember Biden 5 or 10 years from now.]
There are many disaster sites where Biden was a visitor. [From now on Karine Jean-Pierre will mark down the dates of these visits, so they can be placed on note cards for the president. That way his statements won't appear like lies or forgetfulness.] The trip to Maui was a great success, in his eyes. He managed in just a few minutes to enrage most of the citizens there. I believe that after the aid was sent, each resident got under $700. Hey, that's a great start to rebuild a home. [Thanks Joe!] Of course, President Biden needed to make an appearance at a hurricane disaster area, so he picked Florida. [Never been so proud of my guy for president, Ron DeSantis!!] He chose not to meet and greet the president. [Hey, Joe...He met and greeted me in my front yard in August.] I was surprised the president didn't trip over the sandbags and other boards and trees that were blown around. Nothing newsworthy, I guess. I believe the president needs to look up the meaning of the word disaster in the dictionary or on his computer; I don't think he recognizes a disaster and doesn't realize the horrific pain and anguish people are going through. LOOK AT THEIR FACES AND THE TEARS, JOE!!
No matter how many disasters befall our country, the money...the aid never seems to be there for our American citizens. [These people have lived here and worked hard to own homes and have families and try to enjoy their time on this earth.] It can be destroyed in a matter of moments. Wherever Biden goes, there is Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine. With a huge smile and his hand out. [Don't get me wrong, in the beginning of their war with Russia, I supported sending aid. But the amount of money we are giving to them is out of control! Shouldn't American citizens in need be helped FIRST? Biden just wants to appear to the world that he is a "big shot." Little does he know that he is viewed as a clown...a joke to other countries.
Our military exists to protect our country and its people, so they should deserve the best we can give them. My best friend told me about a shocking article about how many of our members of the military are living now. Living conditions at some bases are unbelievable!! There are roaches and bedbugs; there are leaking pipes and mold. What is the Commander-in-Chief doing about his military? Twenty-one percent of the military are food insecure, and 61% of the families pay much higher rent than they should. Operation Homefront has helped out the families with food, back-to-school loaded backpacks, and some unpaid bills. Okay...Here I go again. Sorry...Shouldn't our members of the military, who are to protect and serve, be treated as well or better than these unwanted illegal immigrants who are here? How is that money sent to Ukraine being spent? Maybe it needs to stay in this country. [ What is wrong with this administration and this country?]
Is disaster on the horizon? If the government shuts down, no military checks or social security checks will arrive. Government officials won't be paid. Does Joe Biden care about our seniors? He's 80...He should. But why would he understand or even think about having to decide, Do I pay the heat or rent? Do I buy food or my medicine? And does he know how some of the military members are living? The big questions: Does President Biden realize his country is falling apart? Is President Biden working for our American citizens or against them?
Think about all of this before the 2024 elections!!
