Opinion : Letter to the Editor: Most of us are on the Titanic, and we're going DOWN!

I was relaxing and listening to music on my Bose yesterday afternoon when I came across an article that raised my blood pressure into the danger level.  Most Americans are aware of Biden's controversial elimination of student debt in this country.  [I recall that the Supreme Court said his plan was against the law, but our dear president has selective hearing. If he's able to hear at all.]  A man got a cancellation of his 2010 student loan of $8,250.  He was flashing the note from President Biden around on social media and thanking the president.  Why was I upset about this, you ask.  The man makes $90,000 a year.  I was still seeing a blinding red when I saw the president's mouthpiece, Karine Jean-Pierre at a press conference answering a reporter's question as to why the president is still doing this.  Her reply was that the president is trying to keep these people from being crunched.  Oh, come on...that man making $90,000 a year is"crunched"?  

Some people were interviewed, and they had various responses.  "I'm a taxpayer, and I am going to end up paying for the president's generosity..."  Another man pointed out that many people didn't go to college because they couldn't afford it or didn't want to take out loans.  [I read the loan papers at Wichita State, and then I signed them knowing I would have the responsibility to pay the loans back.  And I did even though it was tough some months.]

The last amount of Biden's "generosity" was 7.7 billion dollars.  And it will go on our nation's ever-growing National Debt.  [What is after trillion, Mr. President?] 

Onto another topic that should concern every citizen in this country!!!  Since Biden was sworn into office, 7.5 million illegal immigrants have arrived here as Biden's "Welcome to America" sign started flashing at the border.  What was he thinking-and I use this word perhaps in jest-when he rolled back the border policies on his first day in office?  Our country has received the best of these countries...the cream of the crop, so to speak: drug dealers, child molesters, rapists,  murderers, thieves, and people who demand to be taken care of...by US taxpayers!!!  

In New York City, children went to homeschooling so the schools could be used for the illegals' housing.  Also, tourists have complained about their inability to find a decent hotel because illegal immigrants have taken over most of them.  Many are now in deplorable conditions.  Denver residents learned recently that their property tax funds will NOT be used to help fund a new arena-in an attempt to attract more tourists-but will be used to take care of the city's illegal immigrants.  

It was documented that the illegals have demanded better conditions in some of their camps: better food...more lighting... longer showers, etc. [Yes, I said demanded!!!].  WHY ARE THEY HERE?  WHY IS IT OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF THEM?   

Do you realize that even though the president says the border is closed. IT ISN'T!!!  Watch the news.  The illegals are there in packs...waiting...for their chance at the American Dream.  A dream that is way beyond millions of America's citizens who live here.  The taxpayers are getting hit hard for the care of these people.  Americans are supposed to have health insurance to cover things such as surgeries or having a baby.  Millions and millions of our citizens can't afford health coverage, and for seniors, just Medicare can leave them with huge bills to pay.  The illegals go into an ER or clinic and are taken care of.  Are they going to pay for the service? No, it will eventually get back to higher costs of our healthcare plans, office calls, and hospital stays.

The crime rate in heavily-populated illegal immigrants areas is on the rise.  Just recently an illegal driving a semi caused caused a horrible accident.  He had already been deported numerous times.  What about the illegal who raped a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint in broad daylight?  Another illegal raped and murdered a mother of five.  Break-ins of wealthy people's homes have been on the rise.  What did Americans think these people were doing 24/7?  Playing checkers, chess, and watching I Love Lucy reruns?  The majority are committing crimes, drinking, doing drugs, etc.

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!  Do you really believe that ALL these people will attend school. find jobs, become self-sufficient, and be first-class citizens?  We will be taking care of these people until the day they die!!!  [If a boy of one is here now, chances are the taxpayers will be providing for him until 65 or later.]

There is something wrong with a country who dismisses its seniors, Vets, and poor as not worthy of an administration's attention!!!  [A few weeks ago, people were informed that around 2033 SS checks might be cut over $300.]  But we'll still be caring for these illegals.  That will take precedence over OUR elderly...OUR hungry...OUR poor...OUR Vets.

I'm a person in one of the groups on the Titanic, and I don't want to go down!!!  I believe in the candidate who believes, IT IS CHEAPER TO DEPORT THAN SUPPORT!!!  Think about it!!!
