Letter to the Editor: Poll Numbers

Gerald, this one is for you.

In an earlier post Gerald bragged about poll numbers favoring Trump. While it is way too early to project any type of winner yet, there has been a momentum shift. I found this on Real Clear Politics whose business is to collect polling data. After only 6 days with Harris in the mix, these are new poll numbers from FOX. I include mostly FOX because I know you will not believe anyone else's numbers. Looks like a toss up to me but looking good for Harris.

Nobody goes through the trouble of creating a poll, then report numbers different than what their work showed. Granted, polls in the last 12 years haven't been near as accurate as they once were. We've known for over a century that National Polls mean absolutely nothing, in a presidential election.

RB July 29, 2024, 2:32 pm The only poll that counts is November 5. Since Trump was puffing out his chest after the debate with Biden he has pulled out of the debate with Harris. Harris would crush Trump in a debate because she has some intelligence and Trump is old and in mental decline.

I am NOT a Trump/Vance lover, but IF North Korea or China tries something against America, I'd rather have them in the Oval Office than an "Air-head" President and a VP with ties to China and Spy balloons!!

RS July 30, 2024, 9:52 am I was just reporting the results from the FOX poll. I can't help it that it triggered such hyperbolic reaction. Talk about weird. MAGA was ready to celebrate oops. The American voters will decide in November.

Just because she "appears" to be the Democrat's nominee DOES NOT change her VP "tossed salad" vocabulary. I had seventh graders with better language skills than Harris. So thrilled you believe she or any staff who would be around her as president could handle a threat from North Korea or China. You seem to forget the times she traveled overseas representing America. She always managed to put her size 13 shoes in her mouth!!

JP August 2, 2024, 12:35 pm As an elder millennial I find the DonOLD and Vance weird. Hell Vance is attracted to living room furniture. Harris has my vote. She’s not OLD and doesn’t support project 2025 like DonOLD and Vance.
