WHO AM I VOTING FOR - AND WHY?????

That comes the moment when someone says,

1."I can't believe you would vote for Trump.” I simply reply, “I'm not voting for Trump.” I'm voting for the First Amendment and freedom of speech.

2. I'm voting for the Second Amendment and my right to defend my life and my family. 3. I'm voting for the next Supreme Court Justice(s) to protect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

4. I’m voting for the continued growth of my retirement 401K and the stock market.

5. I’m voting for a return of our troops from foreign countries and the end to America’s involvement in foreign conflicts.

6. I'm voting for the Electoral College and for the Republic in which we live.

7. I'm voting for the Police to be respected once again and to ensure Law & Order.

8. I’m voting for the continued appointment of Federal Judges who respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

9. I’m voting for our jobs to remain in America and not be outsourced all over again to China, Mexico and other foreign countries.

10. I’m voting for secure borders and legal immigration.

11. I'm voting for the Military & the Veterans who fought for this Country to give the American people their freedoms.

12. I'm voting for the unborn babies that have a right to live.

13. I’m voting for continued peace progress in the Middle East.

14. I’m voting to fight against human/child trafficking.

15. I'm voting for Freedom of Religion. I'm voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored.

16. I'm not just voting for one person, I'm voting for the future of my country. I'm voting for my children and my grandchildren to ensure their freedoms and their future.

What are you voting for?

Note: I wish I had the wordsmithing ability of the above writer. As the saying goes – “couldn’t have said it better myself”. Various "authors" have shared this. Whoever wrote this is an extraordinary visionary; Policy is more important than personality this time around.

You may not like The Donald because of his personality, but he has proven he can get the right job done! Big question why does Donald subject himself to the ridicule and lawsuits? He doesn’t need the money or prestige. He could spend his days building and/or enjoying his golf courses and the former positive attention of the Democrat left. I believe he has a deep affection for the working class and the Nation as a whole.

jt September 10, 2024, 10:34 am GB, that "clown show" has lowered your costs of prescriptions drugs, capped insulin prices. He was able to get needed infrastructure repairs, lowered unemployment, led our economy through the results of pandemic better than any other world nation. Interest rates are getting lowered, we are moving toward improved energy uses of oil and alternative fuels for the good of our climate and future generations, making legal immigration more available because farmers do need the migrant workers. Please give us facts and stop the name calling. Return to respect for our leaders, no matter what your personal opinions are.

I'm fairly certain things haven't changed since your day, but just in case, in my day, there was absolutely no good reason to steal classified documents. The man is a traitor and there's no justice in the world if he doesn't die in prison.

GB September 8, 2024, 6:47 pm Harris and the dementia patient have been running a con job for over 3 1/2 years now. Every single thing they put their hands on they jack up. Bidenomics sucks for the middle class, the humiliating pull out from Afganistan where we left Americans and allies to fend for themselves was pure incompetence and no one was held accountable. The southern border is intentionally wide open where criminals and drugs freely flow into this country and Americans are murdered by illegal aliens. With God's help, this sick clown show of total incompetence will end soon.

But if they would put as much effort into doing their jobs as they do trying to find things to convict Trump with we might have a better economy. There is no way that I will vote for Harris. I don't believe any of the things she says she'll do. She just wants to make her name known as the first female president. And I'm sure there are some Democrats that have done just as much as they say Trump has done but it hasn't been uncovered yet.

I'm for universal background checks, closing gun show loopholes, and banning assault weapons. That view is overwhelmingly favored in America. Answer: That is in peril under Trump. I'm for privacy and my health care is between my doctor and I. Same for women. Government shouldn't make those decisions. Answer: The market tanked under Bush and recovered under Obama. It was in the 19,000's at one time under Trump and in the 20's when he left. It was over 41K a few days ago. How is your 401K doing John? My investments grew 20% last year and sit at 17% this year. Thank you Joe Biden! 5. I'm voting for a return of our troops from foreign countries and the end to America's involvement in foreign conflicts. Answer: I agree. I think of our ill-advised invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan often. We should have cleaned up the terrorists camps and got out. we should have never done nation-building. I believe that started under Bush. People moan about how things went when we withdrew from Afghanistan but Trump set the date to withdraw. 6. I'm voting for the Electoral College and for the Republic in which we live. Answer: In the last 24 years two presidents lost the popular vote. I believe the candidate getting the most votes should be president. Why don't we set up electing a governor that way? Divide our congressional districts and award numbers to the candidate that wins each district. WE DON't because it should be popular votes. 7. I'm voting for the Police to be respected once again and to ensure Law & Order. Answer: Police are respected by whichever party is in power. However, if they abuse their power there should be consequences. It's that way in every walk of life! 8. I'm voting for the continued appointment of Federal Judges who respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Answer: So am I. I'm voting for accountability of those justices too. One has received millions of dollars and benefits and never reported it. His wife was involved in the insurrection. One flew his flag upside down. Those are the justices you are voting for? I also think there should be term limits on justices. 9. I'm voting for our jobs to remain in America and not be outsourced all over again to China, Mexico and other foreign countries. Answer: More manufacturing jobs, including chip manufacturing, has come back in the last four years than in decades. 16 million jobs were added since Trump shut down the government and economy. Thanks Joe Biden. Have you ever added up what Trump's daughter made from her involvement in China? 10. I'm voting for secure borders and legal immigration. Answer: A strong bi-partisan bill was blocked in the Senate when Trump encouraged senators to block it because it would make Biden look good. Biden did an executive order that is helping but not as strong as that bill was. The lady that gave the republican response to the state of the union was a co-sponsor and then voted against it. Go figure! 11. I'm voting for the Military & the Veterans who fought for this Country to give the American people their freedoms. Answer: I am too. I'm not voting for a guy that called our veterans suckers and losers and staged a campaign event in our hallowed Arlington cemetery. BTW that was against federal law. Probably one of the more minor laws Trump has broken. 12. I'm voting for the unborn babies that have a right to live. Answer: The Bible actually defines life from the first breath to the last breath. In nearly every other religion in the world a developing fetus is part of a woman's body. I'm not to warm to abortions either so my position would be to establish a time (certainly not 6 weeks when most women don't even know they are pregnant) and exceptions would be rape, incest, and the life of the mother. 13. I'm voting for continued peace progress in the Middle East. Answer: Me too. I respect the right of Israel to defend itself but millions of Palestinians citizens are being slaughtered and one of the worst humanitarian crisis ever is happening under our noses. 14. I'm voting to fight against human/child trafficking. Answer: Me too. Kamala has prosecuted that area pretty well when in California. 15. I'm voting for Freedom of Religion. I'm voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored. Answer: Freedom of religion is the right to worship as one please or not at all. I'm voting for separation of church and state like our founders designed. Putting ten commandments in schools is wrong as is public dollars going to private schools. Private schools have little accountability compared to public schools. I guess John, since you are for freedom of religion, Putting teachings of the Koran in schools would be ok too. That is why neither should be there. 16. I'm not just voting for one person, I'm voting for the future of my country. I'm voting for my children and my grandchildren to ensure their freedoms and their future. Answer: I'm voting for the future of Democracy. Are you John?

Can you justify why over 40 of the folks in his administration haven't endorsed him? They worked with him. Ask Mike Pence. Over 200 former Bush, Romney, and McCain staff people have endorsed Kamala Harris. The last being one of the most conservative legislators, that being Liz Cheney. The best republican message at the Dem's convention put it this way: "A vote for Harris does not make you a Democrat, it makes you a patriot! Get with the program John!
