Sometimes, on days like today, I wish there was a bit more pomp and circumstance. Veteran's Day, while we celebrate it, it always feel like we didn't do enough to thank our men and women who selflessly serve our country.
It's easy to look at the guys that go and serve as these tough guys, the ones that are invincible, and aren't bothered by war and the things they see while serving. Many never talk about the sights and sounds of war, but struggle silently with their memories.
Then there are the wives, husbands and children left at home to worry and wait...and many times carry on as though nothing has changed...thank you.
On days like this I find myself drawn to the many tributes on the internet, and I've pulled a few of those here for you to take a few moments to reflect on how privileged we are to have a country with this caliber of folks.
So watch, reflect, and be thankful for our men and women...
