Opinion : Letter to the Editor - Thank you to community

THANK-YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE,

I want to take this very public approach to thank all the wonderful, caring individuals who worked together to save me, Monica Lynn Stark.

  I almost died September 16, 2012 and if not for the knowledge and passion to achieve a medical emergency goal, I would not be composing this letter of sincerous gratitude.

Thank-you, Dr. Michelle Elgin, D.O., for the quickest assessment I'd ever seen.  Thank-you, Matt Wilden, PA-C, for being straightforward, practical, and unshakable in your decisions.  You calmed me.  Thank-you, Dr. Meeker, D.O.for being there in the shadows.  I felt your presence.  Thank-you, ER Staff at Virginia Gay Hospital for making me comfortable and handling my requests.  Thank-you, Susan Bender, RT(R),(CT),(MR), for your skill, your love, and your efficiecy, but your osmosis blows goats.  Thank-you, Sharron Dieter, RN, for the angel kiss that protected me on my way.  Thank to the NBA guys  for getting me to St. Luke;s Hospital safely.  Your names may be missing but your kindness is not forgotten.
