Opinion : To the Editor: A good definition of political correctness

Some time ago a friend sent me the following email. This lays it on the line as to how we are being manipulated by the progressive elite media. Each year there is an annual contest at Texas A & M University for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term this year's term was "Political Correctness" Which if followed does not allow us to engage in meaningful debate. The winner wrote -- "Political correctness is a doctrine,fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t--d by the clean end."
