Dear Editor,
The gull of some people. I will never understand why it is some people don't have respect for others.
I had a tree topped off this past Fri. morning. Before I got home from work someone in a red pickup truck decided to help himself to the wood from the tree.
Now, I took the time to talk to the city, line up another person to finish taking the rest off, and will pay for the rest of the tree removal. Conversations were had in regards to disbursement of the wood and committments made.
Why does this person believe he has the right to drive up on my yard, load up his truck, and take whatever he wants without ASKING me first. There was no sign that said "Free Wood, help yourself". There was no phone call or knock on the door to ask if he could have the wood. He just drove up on my yard, loaded up, and took it! What gives him or anyone else special privileges to just do and take as they please with no regard to the other person.
The lack of respect and consideration is the thing that makes me hot under the collar the most. And what about the committments that were made. I was not the only one affected. I just want to close with this..Ask before you Act, everyone needs to show respect for others.
