It was a rough day for the Vikettes Saturday at the Benton Invitational. However, Kaiti Kilpatrick turned in two solid rounds and it was her first time to be medalist for the V-S girls. Mara Jessen bounced back nicely from her first round to break 50. and she had low putts: 31 for 18 holes.

As a team, we had some putting issues and problems with sand bunkers. These are areas we will hope to improve upon. Olivia Ketchen and Jessie Noren gained experience playing at the varsity level on an unfamiliar course.

We are scheduled to play in the annual 9-hole West Delaware Tourney Monday at Pin Oaks in Manchester. Tuesday is a dual at Williamsburg and Thursday we host Don Bosco and Clear Creek-Amana at the Vinton Country Club in a triangular.
