Red Cedar's Black Squad, composed of Drake Tilson, Nick Stein, Sara Jorgensen, Hunter Martin and Cole Garwood took the 4th Place honors with a team score of 220/250, just 6 shots off the first place Squad, Waterloo West. A total of 50-5 shooter squads participated in the event.
Red Cedar Senior Sara Jorgensen took the Top Female Shooter honors of the entire event with an individual score of 48/50 for the day, and Senior Drake Tilson was tied for 6th place Top Male Shooter of the event with a score of 47/50.
Red Cedar Sophomore Ben Wood shot a 25 straight from the 16 yard line, and was one of only 8 shooters competing to record a perfect score. Approximately 500 High School and Middle School trap shooters from as far away as Ankeny participated in the annual event.

The Red Cedar Shooters next meet is a Home Meet next Saturday, May 10th when they will be hosting the Delaware County Trap Club for their final home event of the season. Shooting begins at 9 a.m. at the Red Cedar Izaak Walton League, and is open to the public.
