This group of VSHS athletes will represent the school at the State Track Meet this weekend.
The following Vinton-Shellsburg girls track team members, including sophomores Lily Horst, Bristi Gerber and Maci Griffith, earned a trip to the State Track Meet this coming Thursday-Saturday, with their strong performances in the District meet on Thursday:
3000-Lily Horst
1500- Lily Horst
200- Payton Leonard
400- Payton Leonard
800- Bristi Gerber
Long Jump- Maci Griffith
4x200- Dawne Schminke, Payton Leonard, Sydney Robertson, & Lodorshae Mull. These same four competed in the Drake Relays in the 4 x 100 earlier this season.
