Sports Viking 8th graders win at Solon; 7th graders 3rd

The Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School boys track teams did well at the Solon meet last Friday, April 17.

The 7^th grade team finished third; the 8^th graders, following their undefeated 7^th grade season, finished in first, 20 points ahead of the 2^nd-place team.

Winners included:

Nolan Haisman, 800M and 1600M

4 x 200 (Josh Baird, Jachob Roster, Casey Funk, Keegan Thompson)
