The Vinton-Shellsburg girls basketball team continues its community outreach efforts.
On Tuesday, the girls presented a $1,200 check to the Benton County Veterans Assistance fund from their Hall of Pride "Nets for Vets" game in November.
Then on Friday, the Vikettes will honor breast cancer survivors and participate in a variety of fund-raising projects during the annual Pink Night.
