Sports : VPRD to host 9-Pin Adult Bowling Tournament

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is excited to once again be hosting our annual 9-Pin Adult Bowling Tournament at Berry’s Lanes this coming Saturday, February 13th. Not only is this tournament a ton of fun, but it also helps to raise some funding for capital improvements at our community parks. Bowling will begin at 2 PM and your $20 entry fee includes three games of bowling, shoe rental, flight prizes and a donation to the VPRD Park Improvement Capital Fund.

This 9-Pin tournament is for all bowlers of all levels. There is no handicap needed because the tournament is flighted similar to golf tournaments based on your scratch scores. This allows bowlers of all abilities to have a chance to win some prize money regardless of how high or low your three games total are.
