Nearly 50 young people (including some girls) have participated in the first-ever Vinton-Shellsburg 7-on-7 football passing league.
Those who have not yet signed up are welcome to attend upcoming sessions, says league organizer Andy May. There is no cost for participants, said May.
To address some confusion about the schedule, May is announcing the tentative dates for the rest of the league events.
Due to field availability, the Monday, the May 2 Date is changed to Thursday, May 5. All other dates are set. Also- there will be no cancellations; if it rains we will be in the gym and we will post coaches and signs down at the field to direct. Here are the dates and days; Monday, April 18- NO PRACTICE!! Monday, April 25 630-730 Thursday May 5- 630-730 THIS IS A CHANGE!! Thursday May12 630-730 Thursday May 19 630-730 Monday , May 23 630-730Participants can sign up at any time.
