Brandi Gerber rebounded from an unusually high score last Thursday to be team medalist today; she had a strong second nine and only 16 putts that round. Our other team members all were disappointed to not shoot as well as they had on Thursday at our dual with Benton. Both Rachel Tandy and Halie Engler missed a top ten finish by one stroke. We know this was an off day for most of our team; we should be able to shave 20 strokes from our 403. Our record is now 9-3.
We have two chances to rebound this week. Monday varsity plays in a 9 hole invitational at Pin Oaks in Manchester with several larger schools and a strong field. Thursday varsity and JV travel to Center Point for a dual with the Pointers. Next Monday we return to Tara Hills for the WAMAC West Divisional 9 hole tourney.
