V-S girls rebounded from their tournament rounds on Saturday to post a solid 190 today, and that was with each girl having at least one hole they would have liked to do over. Several of our team had one out of bounds shot and penalty stroke. Juniors Rachel Tandy and Brandi Gerber had only one hole that caused them difficulty, but rebounded nicely. Freshman Lillie Lamont is getting valuable varsity experience and contributing to our team, and also to the girls track team. Alex Maynard had one of her best scores this season and improved five strokes from playing here early in April. Many of the schools present would have liked to have had Ms Blake's and Ms Engler's scores today; they weren't far out of the mix. One of the best attributes of our team is that the girls are never satisfied and are always striving to improve!
Next up is a varsity-JV dual at Rolling Hills that Center Point is hosting Thursday, April 27. Monday varsity will again take on the Tara Hills course for the WAMAC West Divistional with seven other teams hosted by Benton Community.
