On Thursday evening all four VSHS bowling teams competed at Cedar Rapids Bowling Center against Marion. Three of the four teams came out on top and you could see the pride on all their faces of how they performed. The boys Varsity Team really stepped up. Led by Cyrus Elwick and Ryan Schoettmer, these boys worked together and had their season high scoring more than 200 pins above average. The varsity girls team led by Taylor Berry, pushed to get back in the game at the end of the match but were not able to overcome the deficit. These teams are becoming cohesive units each meet and are working each and every day at their games.
Our next meet is on Tuesday January 23rd at home vs Waterloo Columbus.
