Sports : VSHS football cheerleaders wrap up successful, busy season tonight

While only seen in public for a couple of hours on a few Friday nights, the Vinton-Shellsburg High School cheerleaders have each spent nearly 200 hours this season (including activities during the summer) in practices, clinics (including one in Ames), bus rides, community service activities such as the Step Up For Down Syndrome Walk. The team is also honoring its four seniors: Alexzondria Diveley (4 years), Cassie Hazen (1 year), Brianna Lundvall (2 years), and Lauren Price (4 years).
