Sports : VS Girls Middle School State Track Meet breaks School Records

The seven 8th grade girls who competed in the Middle School State Meet last Saturday were Molly Haisman, Kali Burke, Baylee Wheeler, Gracie Drury, Kate Timmermann, Jade Coots, and Annabelle Newton. They did an outstanding job. Kali placed in the top 12 in both shot and disc. She was competing against 3A and 4A schools. The foursome of Coots, Newton, Timmermann, and Drury placed 6th in both 4 x 200 and the sprint med. They finished 4th in the 4 x 100. They set records in the 4 x 100 (0:54.69) and The sprint med. (2:03.91)

Additionally, last night at our home meet Abby Davis set a school record in the 10 flight hurdles (17.13 sec.) She also lead the shuttle hurdle team to a record time of 1:15.23. The members of the shuttle team are Abby Davis, Gracie Drury, Justyce Dominic, and Lizzie Noe.
