The Vinton-Shellsburg Stormin' Viking swimmers closed out their home season Monday with a dual meet win over Williamsburg Our guys swam really well, On the evening we had 41 new personal best times led by Isaac Allsup and Bradyn Schlief with four each. Elias Colsch, Logan Zearley and Jared Jacobs each had three new personal best times. Final score was 69-25.

We won 9 of the 11 events with Carter Kirtz achieving two victories - 100 breast and 500 free. Cyrus Elwick, Isaac Allsup, Ian Allsup and Ian Vrba each also each took home a first-place finish. All three A relays took first place with the 160 Medley Relay and 320 Free Relay achieving team-best times for those events (which only take place in our 20-yard home pool). Carter Kirtz also set the team record in the 160 Individual Medley to go with his record in 200 IM that he set last week in Grinnell.

Our next meet will be Tuesday night at Cedar Rapids Washington before heading to the Conference Meet at Coe College on Feb 1st.
