Sports : VS Swim Results from Kennedy 9/20/22

VS girls swam well last night against Tipton, Williamsburg and host team CR Kennedy - coming in 3rd behind the two teams that were more than twice our size each. 7 of the 11 swimming events were won by VS (we took 1st AND 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke) and 2 more events had VS in second place. We just didn't have the bodies to score supporting points we need to be more competitive in the team standings. Still, 7 times posted were new personal bests - to include Mac Goodell taking 12 seconds off her time in the 500 Freestyle. 
The 3 senior captains Justyce Dominick, Lauren Moore & Carleigh Wilson again showed their value by each winning individual events, along with sophomore Olivia Schminke. Lauren has been putting in extra pool time and it's paying off in personal bests in both her individual events. 
We head back to Grinnell on Tuesday, September 27.
