Sports : Kiwanis Boomtown 5K Run/Walk 2023 Saturday, August 26th

The Vinton Kiwanis will hold the annual Boomtown 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Kid run/walk on August 26th. Registration for the race will be from 7-7:45 a.m. with the race beginning at 8:00 a.m. Meet on the east side of courthouse!

Cost: $25 per person or $50 for a family of 3 or more.

 All registrants will receive a goody bag on the day of the race!

The race will benefit the Operation Backpack program for the Vinton-Shellsburg Community School District. The program supplies students with food over the weekends during the school year.
