Senior pitcher Kody Seaton held the powerful Williamsburg baseball team scoreless, pitching a complete 7-inning game for a 3-0 victory Monday in Vinton.

Seaton also drove in a run with a squeeze bunt in the sixth inning. The score was tied until the bottom of the fifth, when Bryce Burroughs drove in two with a single that bounced out of the glove of a diving Raider outfielder.

Seaton struck out several Raiders and picked off two at first base, the last one in the final inning, when the Raiders had three hits but failed to score.

Game two victory

Burroughs pitched the Vikings to a 4-3 win in the nightcap, despite early Viking errors that gave the visitors a 2-0 lead. The Vikings improve to 7-5 on the season.
