The season opener at Benton County Speedway is fast approaching with the first green flag of the season set to wave Sunday, April 21.

Weekly points battles will begin for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts.

The Pro Late Model Tour will join opening night action at The Bullring.

Late Models will compete for a $1,250 winner's share and pay $250 to start the main event. There is a $50 entry fee for that division.

Pit gate and grandstand will open at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with hot laps at 4:30 and racing to follow.

Grandstand admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and veterans, and $5 for ages 6-12. Kids ages five and under will be admitted free if accompanying a paid adult.

Pit passes are $30.
