A bit about the coaches
Adam Fish
Mr. Fish grew up in the Vinton-Shellsburg District. He graduated in the class of 1996. Fish was a starter on the 1996 Boys Basketball Team...which made it to the State Tournament! He is going into his 4th year as the Varsity Girls Softball Coach.
His wife is Andrea and the couple share three children who attend school in the Vinton-Shellsburg District, Grace is a Junior, Allie is in the 8th grade and Steele is in the 3rd grade.
Justin Nosbisch
Mr. Nosbisch played basketball in college and has spent more than 20 years coaching at every level—from the Little Dunkers program and AAU teams to high school and college basketball. He is also currently an Instructional Coach at Bunger Middle School in Evansdale.
His coaching philosophy centers on more than just teaching the game he loves; he strives to guide student-athletes to become respectful, confident, and trustworthy individuals who contribute successfully to whatever they pursue in the future—all while having fun on the court. Justin looks forward to coaching some familiar faces, promoting and growing the Vikette program, and building strong partnerships to help bring lasting success to the program in the years ahead.
For fun he and his wife Whitney help their children show and train horses across the country throughout the summer. Their family includes daughters Callie a Junior, Ayden a Sophomore, Leni in the 6th grade and son, Korbin a 2nd grader.
