Sports : Reel Heroes Day June 6th, 8:30-11:30am at Hannen Lake Park

Reel Heroes Day will be on June 6th, 2026. This FREE Fishing event will be held from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Hannen Lake Park. Join Benton County Conservation Park Rangers and other area first responders for a fun-filled day of FREE fishing during the IDNR’s annual FREE Fishing Weekend.

No license required for Iowa residents.

Fishing equipment and bait will be provided for use during the event.

Hannen Lake Park is located at 1949 Benton Iowa Road, Blairstown, IA 52209.
