Two weeks after hosting their own Pink Night, the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikettes participated in another girls high school basketball pink night at Benton Community on Friday evening.

The Bobcats wore pink uniforms and organized a variety of events to raise funds and awareness of breast cancer. The unbeaten Benton Community team defeated the Vikettes by a score of 64-35.

Junior Madison Weekly led the Bobcats with 18 points. The Bobcats were 6 of 7 from behind the 3-point line.

The Vikettes play at home on Tuesday, hosting Williamsburg, then travel to Clear Creek-Amana on Friday.
