VSHS freshmen Bristi Gerber and Lily Horst advanced to the State Cross Country Meet. -
The VSHS Boys Cross Country Team advanced to the State Meet. -
The District XC was held Thursday on the Wartburg XC course in Waverly.
In the girls event, VSHS runners Lily Horst took 2nd and Bristi Gerber took 3rd.
Wyatt Lyons took 10th place and overall, the VSHS boys placed 3rd, sending the whole team to the state meet,.
Lily and Bristi advanced to the Girls State Cross Country Meet as individuals.
