Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig urges farmers and agribusinesses to evaluate how much propane they'll need to meet grain drying and home and livestock heating demands this fall and winter. Fareway ends print ads in Publications Statewide

Fareway ads will now be found only online and in your local store. Fareway, which is headquartered in Boone, informed newspapers across the state last week that it no longer will publish its weekly specials in the newspaper. You can pick up a regular print ad, in the store, but it will no longer be delivered to your home.The decision made was a corporate one affecting publications statewide, Fareway vice president of marketing and sales Jeff Stearns told Vinton Today that the ads will continue to run from Wednesday through Tuesday.
