The New Century Fast Stop convenience store is one of 28 Iowa locations participating in the "Pink at the Pump" campaign. The company will donate 3 cents per gallon of all of its sales of E-15 ethanol to the National Breast Cancer Foundation,which focuses on providing help and inspiring hope to thoseaffected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.
"October is "ËœBreast Cancer Awareness Month,' and it's a perfect time for Iowa E15retailers to join forces with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to raise awarenessabout breast cancer and cleaner-burning E15," � stated Iowa Renewable FuelsAssociation (IRFA) Managing Director Lucy Norton. "Filling-up with E15 means you'refueling your vehicle with a more environmentally-friendly fuel that contains lesscarcinogens than straight petroleum gasoline. Now, for the entire month of October, italso means you're helping to combat breast cancer while seeing a lot of pink atparticipating Iowa E15 fueling locations." �

"Their generous donation will support our mission of helping women by providing early detection, education and support services to women in all 50states." �
"Many people have started eating healthier, but they don't ever think about what they'rebeing exposed to with daily activities, like fueling their cars," � stated breast cancersurvivor and Kansas fuel retailer Cheryl Werth Near, who was featured in thedocumentary "ËœPump.' "I'm a breast cancer survivor with no previous family history ofbreast cancer. The truth is gasoline is full of toxic aromatics. Ethanol has no toxins orcarcinogens, so the higher the ethanol blend, the less toxic aromatics you are beingexposed to when fueling your car.This makes E15 not only a healthier choice, but thehigher octane choice that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and saves you money atthe pump." �

The Iowa Renewable Fuels Association and Iowa Corn Promotion Board have teamedup with the National Breast Cancer Foundation for the "Pink at the Pump" � campaign tohelp combat breast cancer with cleaner-burning fuels, like E15.
