Benton County Farm Bureau and the Benton County Pork Producers are excited to bring back Windsor Wednesday to the people of Benton County. Join us in celebrating National Pork Month every Wednesday this October.

Add pork to your plate! Pork is low in sodium, high in protein and certified "heart-healthy" by the American Heart Association. Pork tenderloin is leaner and less saturated in fat compared to 20 years ago and it has important nutrients like zinc and potassium, which boosts your metabolism and helps lower your blood pressure.

Grocery shoppers will be able to sign up for the Windsor Wednesday drawing at the Vinton Fareway meat counter, as well as Roy's Hometown Grocery in Shellsburg, and Country Foods in Belle Plaine. Each Wednesday starting on October 7, a winner will be drawn to receive a 6-pack of Windsor Chops (smoked pork chop) and a pound of thick cut bacon. Winners will be notified by phone to pick up their winnings. Look for the Windsor Wednesday entry box display at your local grocery store and enter to win delicious and nutritious pork!
