Tension is mounting on the VSHS stage as the cast of CATS enters its final week of rehearsals. 25 kitties will enter the make-up room for the first time on Saturday morning, followed by rehearsal with the combined student and community band on Saturday afternoon, and an additional choreography rehearsal Saturday night. Greg and Diane Walston (parents of senior cat Matt, Old Deuteronomy) have graciously offered to provide dinner for the whole litter Saturday evening.

Pictured seniors Liz Moen (Demeter) and Emma Horst (Bombalurina) sing about Macavity, senior Alex Springer (Rum Tum Tugger) and junior Will Hancock (Munkustrap) welcome and revere senior Matt Walston (Old Deuteronomy), and several female cats sing and dance about the Magical Mr. Mistoffelees.

CATS will be presented at the VSHS auditorium on Friday and Saturday, November 4 and 5 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, November 6 at 2 p.m. Tickets, $5 adults, $4 students, may be purchased at the door.
