The Palace opens this Friday, complete with new carpet, seats, balcony, & new seats for the kids!

The end is near!  All seats are installed and the big clean-up has begun!

I think Gerald has tried out every single seat. You won’t believe the added legroom!  The new seat map for online sales is ready and October movies will be posted on Monday night, October 1.  Check it out at www.vintonpalace.org.

FINDING NEMO in 3D

Playing Friday, October 5 through Thursday, October 11 at 7 p.m. every night, and 2 p.m. on Monday, October 8 is “Finding Nemo” in 3D.  An excellent opportunity for kids to bring their parents and try out the new seats AND new booster seats, that double as trays for carrying your concessions!

Dory, Crush, Marlin, Nemo and Gill retooled in vivid 3D – a brand to twist to an old favorite.

EXPENDABLES 2

And speaking of old favorites, “The Expendables 2” runs THREE DAYS ONLY, on Friday and Saturday, October 5 and 6 at 9 p.m. and Sunday, October 7 at 2 p.m.

Sylvester, Jason, Arnold, Jean-Claude, Jet, and Dolph together again.  Rated R with lots and lots violence, lots of laughs and filthy language, and a lot more violence – we’ll be carding at the door.  Bring your parents (who will probably appreciate this one more than you), if you are not 17.

“The Expendables 2”is so…….stupid. It's littered with cheeseball one-liners, a straight-to-DVD echelon script, senior citizens, action scenes backed by songs from the 1950's and characters who appear, disappear and reappear based on the actor's shooting schedule. It's totally hokey. But man, oh man, is it fun. – www.whatwouldebertdo.com

Adults, take this opportunity to try out our new Premium Balcony Seating. The balcony redo boasts 24 true stadium chairs, in plush black leather, added legroom with foot rests, and new carpeting.

We will no longer use the balcony as overflow seating.  Patrons may purchase premium seating in the balcony at any time, online, in advance, or at the door.  Balcony tickets will cost $6 for 2D and $8 for 3D.  Main floor ticket prices remain the same.

So excited to see you at the movies!
