AREA STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM ALLEN COLLEGE

The following students graduated from Allen College, receiving a degree and if applicable from Allen College. The College awarded 105 degrees during its commencement ceremonies on Friday, December 18.Allen College conferred 2 Bachelor of Health Sciences degrees with majors in public health, 58 Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees, 10 Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degrees, 33 Master of Science of Nursing degrees and 2 Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees.

Scholarship Available through Iowa Bankers Association

The Iowa Bankers Association is again accepting applications for the John Hughes Memorial Scholarship to the Iowa School of Banking. This scholarship was established as a memorial in 1986 for Hills, Iowa, banker John Hughes. Two individuals — one from an Iowa college or university and one employed by a news organization in Iowa — will be [sel]ed to receive the annual award.

Light Among Minnesota State University, Mankato Graduates

Minnesota State University, Mankato will award 1,796 degrees to 1,753 students at the end of the fall 2020 semester, with this fall's graduates celebrated through a special website with commencement videos that will be available at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, the day on which the University's three traditional graduation ceremonies were scheduled but cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
