Today’s spotlight is Melissa Andreas who hails from Corvallis, OR.  Behind the scenes working as the Cedar Unit Support Team Leader, Melissa graduated from Walla Walla University in Washington state with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology and minors in Japanese Language and Literature in 2009.  Last year, Melissa participated in AmeriCorps NCCC as a Corps Member of Class XVI in Perry Point, MD.  Melissa came back for another year with AmeriCorps NCCC because she is interested in working for a non-profit organization as a career, and AmeriCorps seemed like a great way to see how several different non-profits were run. She also thought it would be a great way to travel to other parts of the country she has never seen.
