Et cetera What We're Reading: Regretting You

Whenever I hear about a book-to-movie adaptation, I immediately want to jump on the bandwagon — read the book first, then enjoy the movie!

So when I saw the trailer for 'Regretting You,' I thought, “Wait… how did I miss this Colleen Hoover book?!”

'Regretting You' follows Morgan Grant and her sixteen-year-old daughter, Clara. Morgan had Clara when she was young and is determined that her daughter won’t make the same mistakes she did. The glue of their family is Chris Grant — husband, father, and the peacemaker — until a tragic accident changes everything.

Left to pick up the pieces, Morgan and Clara’s once-close bond starts to crack. As secrets are revealed and emotions spiral, both find comfort in unexpected people. Between grief, resentment, and misunderstanding, the tension only grows. Can they learn to communicate and heal before it’s too late?

This story is full of heartache, family drama, and those raw emotions Colleen Hoover does so well.
