Iowa Llama Association Offering Llama Limbo Slot to Writing Contest Winner

At the annual meeting of the Iowa Llama Association (ILA) it was determined to hold an essay contest for youth ages 8 – 12 to award the winner a slot in the annual Llama Limbo held the last Saturday of the Iowa State Fair.  Each year, at the conclusion of the Saturday llama performance classes, held in the Outdoor Arena near gate 7, the ILA holds the Llama Limbo.  This event draws standing room only crowds every year, due to its light-hearted nature and good honest fun.  Part of this draw is the fact the ILA chooses several participants from the crowd, to join local celebrities and fair dignitaries, to enter the show ring and see if they can team up with their new llama partner and negotiate their way under a limbo pole.  It is always difficult to choose from so many willing participants, so the ILA thought we would give one younger participant an early reservation.
