Final days of Virginia Gay Hospital Annual Tree Walk & 100 Year Open House
Virginia Gay Hospital will host their 100th Anniversary Open House. Tours will begin in the Vinton Family Medical Clinic waiting room between 5-7:30 PM. A staff member will guide you through the VGH Facility highlighting the services and history of the hospital. See behind the scenes in OR, Lab, Imaging and more.At the completion of tours, you will be escorted to the Clinic Conference room full of Christmas spirit and a wine & cheese reception. This Thursday, November 9 from 5-7 p.m. there will be a grilled tenderloin dinner at the American Legion. Benton County Public Health is excited to begin teaching SafeSitter babysitting courses here in Benton County beginning Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at the Vinton Public Library. The SafeSitter babysitting course curriculum has been around for decades, and allows students opportunities to interact with their peers as they learn everything from personal & internet safety, to first aid & choking rescue skills, to business skills and behavior management.
