Iowa Equestrian Center to Host 3rd Annual Deck the Stalls Holiday Event Dec. 15
Kirkwood Community College’s Iowa Equestrian Center will host the third annual Deck the Stalls event on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.The family-friendly experience will feature activities for people of all ages. Attendees will be able to enjoy horse and pony rides, farm animals, a mechanical bull, vendors, a shopping village and a hot cocoa bar.
Cocoa and Cookies with Santa, Saturday, November 30
In an event held by the Benton County Historical Society, Santa will be at the Vinton Train Depot.Join Us for a Festive Day with Santa on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Bring the whole family for a day of holiday cheer! Santa will be visiting, and everyone is welcome! Enjoy free cocoa and cookies while making memories.

Breakfast with Santa will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.Breakfast includes breakfast, photo op, and treat from Santa!Eat breakfast at 9:00 AM and visit Santa at 10:00 AM. Get Ready for the Festival of Trees in Belle Plaine
The Festival of Trees in Belle Plaine will showcase the artistic talents of area businesses, organizations, and families through trees they decorate for this holiday event. Visitors to the festival can bring coins to vote on their favorite tree, with the three trees getting the most votes getting gift baskets. The top prize is valued at over $375, the second at over $275, and the third at over $175.

The LPC Womens Club "Homes for the Holidays" Tour of Homes will be held Sunday, December 8th from 4:30-7:00 pm. Wesley United Methodist Church will host a Live Nativity performance at their location 516 2nd Ave. Vinton.Please join us as our youth along with live animals share the meaning of the Christmas season.
