The Vinton-Shellsburg High School student body and staff will be hosting a special Veteran’s Day observance on Thursday, November 11th. All area veterans and their spouses are invited to start the day with a breakfast hosted by VSHS Student Senate in the VSHS Commons area at 8:15 AM. Following the breakfast, the public is invited to join the students and staff in the Garrison Field House (HS gym) for a program honoring all veterans starting at 9:00 AM.
Early Arts Study Club will meet Monday, November 15, at 1:30, at the Trinity Lutheran Church with June Kruger as hostess. June will present the program on Turkeys.

Thursday, October 28th, 5-7:00 p.m. the American Legion George G. Luckey Post 57, will hold their last Tenderloin Dinner for 2021.The legion will serve an 8 ounce tenderloin, french fries, coleslaw and a dessert for $10. Allergy Alert: This week they will be using peanut oil.
