Events will be held at the Benton County Conservation located at 5718 20th Ave. Dr. in Vinton.
Toddler Time "Nocturnal Animals"
Halloween is getting closer, and that means owls, bats, and other nighttime critters. Bring your tots to the Nature Center and learn about these cool creatures. Feel free to dress in costume! This program is geared toward younger kids but all are welcome.
Friday 10-11:00 a.m.
Spooktackular Geocaching
Use GPS units to find treats hidden around the Nature Center, although there may be a few tricks along the way! We will have GPS units available for you to use and will provide instruction on how to use them. You can dress in your Halloween costume, but some of the treats will be off the beaten path, so you might get a little dirty. Pre-registration is preferred by calling 319-472-4942 or emailing info@bentoncountyparks.com.
Friday 3-4:00 p.m.
Terror On The Trail
The name says it all — Join us for the Rodgers Park annual Halloween hike! Participants will gather at the Rodgers Park Grilling Garden for a ride to the trail head. Tickets are available to purchase at the gate. $10/adults, $5/child (12 and under).
Friday 7-11:00 p.m.
Saturday 7-11:00 p.m.
