free activity for all youth who love carnival games, pumpkin coloring and parading through downtown trick or treating in their Halloween costumes. Held at the Courthouse lawn for ages: youth-5th grade, cost is free.
From 7-9:00 p.m.anyone who wears a Halloween costume (more than just a mask) will get a $1 skate admission and entered into the VPRD Halloween costume contest! And if you think putting is tough during the daytime, just think how hard it will be in the dark with ghosts & goblins in the mix!
All ages are welcome at this event. Cost to skate is $4.50 per skater, and $1 off if you wear a costume. Miniature golf is $2 a round.

City wide Annual Trick or Treating times will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on October 31.
The first of the Halloween events have rolled in. If your church or organization is planning something special for Thursday, October 31, please send in your event information to be included in the list of Halloween events!

The area Vinton MOPS group will be partnering with Blessed Hope Community Church to host the annual Trunk or Treat event in the church parking lot.
The church is located at 1509 S. M Ave. (Behind Theisen's) and will run from 4:30-5:30 p.m. There will be lots of candy as well as hotdogs for supper on the go!

Windsor Manor will be hosting children from 4:30-5:30 p.m. don't forget to stop at the other residential facilities, the people there LOVE to see the children!

Wesley United Methodist Church have activities planned from 5-7 on Halloween. There will be Trunk or Treating, food, photobooth, and of course candy! The church is located at 516 2nd Ave. Vinton.
