The Center Point-Urbana (CPU) FFA Chapter is proud to announce the o icial ribbon cutting ceremony for its new greenhouse project, taking place on Wednesday, May 6 at 5:00 PM behind the CPU High School Industrial Technology building.

Through the dedication and generosity of the Center Point-Urbana FFA Alumni & Supporters, nearly $230,000 was raised to fully fund the greenhouse ¢â‚¬â€an impressive milestone for a chapter established just three years ago.

¢â‚¬Å“With the hard work, planning, and incredible support from our community, we are excited to open a space that will serve CPU students and the broader community for years to come, ¢â‚¬ said Kim Lewis. ¢â‚¬Å“It ¢â‚¬â„¢s especially rewarding to see the greenhouse already in operation during our first plant sale as an FFA

chapter. ¢â‚¬

Community members, supporters, and donors are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and celebrate this exciting achievement. Guests are encouraged to come hungry and ready to explore a wide selection of plants available for purchase for gardens and flower beds.

¢â‚¬Å“This greenhouse represents more than just a building ¢â‚¬â€it ¢â‚¬â„¢s a symbol of what our students can accomplish with the support of a strong and passionate community, ¢â‚¬ Lewis added.
